MAINTENANCE
& TROUBLESHOOTING
The
Warming Hut
model WH2000/WH2001 in made of the highest quality component parts. We
have thoroughly tested the Warming Huts at our factory before they were
shipped to you. The following check list will help your installer and
service persons to correct any minor problems. The Warming Hut is relatively
maintenance free. General maintenance will keep your Warming Hut running
properly and attractive looking.
PROBLEM
/ ITEMS TO CHECK
How
to unlock:
- Insert
key-push down while turning 90 degrees.
- Pull
out entire locking assembly (about 3 inches long).
- Open
front panel. To lock-reverse unlock instructions making sure lock is
fully Seated. (Note: Leave key in lock mechanism until you complete
locking).
Unit
will not operate (no power):
- Make
sure unit is plugged into (110-120V) wall outlet.
- Timer
(Black Modular Unit) on upper right is plugged into socket.
- All
wires are connected to blower.
- Check
wall outlet to make sure there is power.
Unit
runs when power cord in plugged into the wall outlet:
- Trip
wire in switch under coin mechanism is stuck in down position. Trip
a number of times to free.
- Remove
timer on the inside of unit and exchange with another unit timer (if
available). Test with the other timer installed.
Unit will not turn off (keeps running for more than 2 ‡ minutes).
- Same
as #3 above.
Jammed
coin or slug:
- Insert
small wire (bent paper clip will work) into small hole located in top
of unit next to coin slot and push down. This pushes lever on coin mechanism
freeing the jam without opening the unit.
- Open
unit, remove coin mechanism, follow instructions on coin mechanism to
open and free jam.
No
air is coming out of both black external tubes:
- Check
the "Y" connector is pressure fitted to the blower nozzle.
- Check
Internal hoses for holes or crimps. Make sure hose clamps are tight.
MAINTENANCE
- After
4000 uses it is recommended replacement of brushes in the motor. If
brushes are not replaced when worn, blower will seize.
- Coin
mechanism should be removed and cleaned with hot soapy water twice a
year or if necessary. This will insure smooth coin operation
- Check
Internal hoses for cracks.
- Keep
your unit clean, do not spray any types of detergent or solvents inside
the unit, wipe down inside with a clean damp towel.
- Provide
signage for your guest (see parts list)
